TECHNOLOGY PLATFORMS

6 Lighting Technology Platforms for Professional Production

DUNDI develops professional lighting fixtures for theatres, studios, conference venues, touring productions and system-integration projects. Each platform is engineered around measurable application requirements—not decorative specifications.

01

Precision Optical Systems

Lens selection, reflector geometry and optical alignment are developed to produce controlled beams, clean projection edges and usable output across the specified zoom range.

02

Colour & White-Light Quality

LED source selection and calibration focus on natural skin tones, stable white light and consistent colour between fixtures. Exact CRI, TLCI, CCT and TM-30 data are specified by model.

03

Camera-Ready Performance

Selected studio and broadcast fixtures are designed for smooth dimming, stable output and low-flicker operation across professional camera workflows and frame-rate requirements.

04

Control & System Integration

DMX control is supported across the professional range, with RDM and additional wired or wireless control options available on selected models and project configurations.

05

Thermal & Acoustic Engineering

Thermal paths, fan strategies and component layout are engineered to protect LED performance while controlling operational noise for theatre, studio and close-audience applications.

06

Reliability & Serviceability

Mechanical construction, connectors, power systems and replaceable assemblies are evaluated for repeated setup, transport, installation and long-term professional use.

OPTICAL ENGINEERING

Controlled Beams, Clean Edges and Usable Output

Optical lighting technology depends on the complete optical path—not LED wattage alone. DUNDI evaluates source positioning, lens geometry, reflector design and mechanical alignment as one system.

  • Beam uniformity across the usable field
  • Projection clarity and shutter definition
  • Zoom consistency and focus behaviour
  • Stray-light and colour-fringing control
  • Photometric verification for selected models

FULL-COLOUR LED PROFILE SPOTLIGHT

Side-by-Side Light Output Comparison

Compare DUNDI’s full-colour LED profile spotlight with a benchmark brand through coloured-light shadow tests, circular beams and shutter cuts. The photographs show colour mixing, shadow separation, beam edges and framing behaviour.

COLOUR & CAMERA PERFORMANCE

Light That Looks Right to the Eye and the Camera

For theatre, broadcast and film applications, colour rendering must be evaluated beyond a single CRI number. DUNDI can provide model-specific colour and electrical data to support lighting technology evaluation.

  • White-light consistency across production batches
  • Natural skin-tone and saturated-colour reproduction
  • CCT and colour-control options by fixture series
  • CRI, R9, TLCI or TM-30 information where applicable
  • Camera testing based on the intended production workflow

WHITE-LIGHT TUNING

CCT & DUV Visual Evaluation

The same reference scene is evaluated at multiple colour temperatures and DUV adjustment settings to demonstrate changes in white balance, tint and object colour rendering.

DUNDI lighting technology CCT and DUV visual evaluation at 3200K, 5600K and 10000K
Controlled visual comparison: 3200K, 5600K and 10000K with negative, neutral and positive DUV adjustment settings.

3200K Warm White

Observe tint control and colour rendering under a warm-white reference.

5600K Daylight

Compare neutral daylight output with negative and positive DUV adjustments.

10000K High CCT

Evaluate tint behaviour and object appearance at a high colour-temperature setting.

Images are visual test references recorded under a controlled setup. Perceived colour may vary with camera settings, display calibration and viewing conditions. Model-specific colour and photometric data are available on request.

DIMMING & CONTROL

Lighting Technology for Modern Production Workflows

Smooth Low-End Dimming

Control curves and driver behaviour are evaluated to support smooth fades, stable low-output operation and repeatable cue transitions.

Flicker Management

PWM and dimming performance are matched to the intended fixture and application. Camera compatibility should always be confirmed against frame rate and shutter settings.

DMX & RDM Integration

Lighting technology integration covers practical programming, fixture addressing and system servicing. RDM availability varies by product series. For protocol specifications, consult the ESTA Technical Standards Program, including DMX512-A and RDM.
